Today I have good news x3--moving, auctioning, and opening. It's all good!

Four Elements Fuzbomb, Far Away in the WestOur "vacation" consisted of packing up our house and business in New York and moving across the country to Utah, to the beautiful mountains you see behind this diaper cover. I didn't want to alarm anyone with our move (me included), so I thought it best to let it be a vacation until it was settled.

This whole process has taken longer than we expected. (Don't they all?) I believe we have now unpacked enough of our layers of organic fabric and sewing machines that we are ready for our remodeled website to open.

Four Elemental Wool Diaper CoverSeveral well-known cloth diaper manufacturers have come together for occasional auctions as rare as a Random Eclipse. To celebrate the new moon, most have followed the theme of Four Seasons. You want to see these amazing diapers and clothing!

All of the auctions run for 24 hours, ending 10:01am Eastern, Friday (December 2nd).

We squeezed the Four Seasons theme into Four Elements to match our own new line of Elemental Diapers. We took the print and dye patterns from the organic cotton diapers and recreated them in wool for the diaper cover you see above right.

The body and trim are the same wool as our Fuzbomb diaper covers. Brims are slightly stretchy to give them a snug fit on active children. Sizes vary to fit from newborn to 3-5 years old. My 5-year old model fits three of the hats well, so you may find enough flexibility in the sizing to fit your child for several seasons.

Our new website is open!

Remodeled Fuzbaby WebsiteThe new Fuzbaby website features:

  • a stretched out new logo, which we have always called The Fuzrise (as in Public Image's "May the [fuz] rise with you, may the [fuz] rise with you.").
  • more information in our Resources and Make Your Own Everything sections
  • our new Gallery of Diaper Art telling the stories of exactly how we dyed and created many of our great diapers over the past six years
  • BEST OF ALL: a whole new diaper style, Elemental Diapers. These hand-printed and hand-dyed diapers grew out of the colorways for the old favorite Refuz diapers.

Most products on the remodeled Fuzbaby website will be made when you order them. The plan is to ship these within 1-2 weeks--or earlier when possible. If things get backed up more than 4 weeks, I will simply cut off orders. I don't want you waiting in long lines.

For those waiting for contours, photographing those and getting the order pages ready is today and tomorrow's project. You will be contacted soon.
