Hello Friends.

I have good news and bad news. Actually, there's no bad news. Let's call it good news and great news, with a slight delay.

Let's start with the delay. We're going on vacation. We will be gone within the next couple of days until about November 19th. We're going on an adventure, driving across the country. We'll wave from the car window.

For you, this only means that orders won't be filled for a few weeks and emails will go unanswered for a short time. Plus, you'll have to wait for the big happenings we're just bursting to tell you about.

Hey, you know I've been working on contour diapers. You saw a photo of production in a newsletter a few months (or a few years?) ago. Well, the long-awaited contour diapers for Almost-in-One sets are done! You can see a few of them at right, before and after in our workshop.

All of those who sent me an email expressing an interest in contour diapers will be contacted in turn. If your baby has already potty trained (as I suspect many will have), no problem. I'll just move on to the next person waiting.

Before you check your email, remember there will be a slight delay until we return from vacation.

If you want contour diapers and they are all gone before I reach the end of the list, no worries. That is the best part. You will soon be able to buy Fuzbaby contour diapers directly from our website again. Just click and buy. How? Why? Read on.

Our website has changed very little from the time it was first posted. There are out-of-date descriptions and broken links. Sad, sad. First, denial for a couple of years. Then, my perfectionist nature required that I must redo it all at once.

I have redone the site, and I am done! Our new website is complete and waiting to be uploaded.

The new Fuzbaby website features:

  • a stretched out new logo, which we have always called The Fuzrise (as in Public Image's "May the [fuz] rise with you, may the [fuz] rise with you.").
  • more information in our Resources and Make Your Own Everything sections
  • our new Gallery of Diaper Art telling the stories of exactly how we dyed and created many of our great diapers over the past six years
  • BEST OF ALL: a whole new diaper style, Elemental Diapers. These hand-printed and hand-dyed diapers grew out of the colorways for the old favorite Refuz diapers. Sneak a peek in the screen shot above (plus you can see my original sketches on the wall in the finished contour photo above, left of the Fuzbaby logo--teeny tiny).

Look for the new website when we return mid-November.

Until then, thank you all for your interest. We are very excited about the new website and new products. You will be among the first (few hundreds) to hear about it as soon as the new website is up later this month.
