Hello Friends.
The calendar says Summer, but our temperature says Fall. And yet, a lot of our news today is similar to the news we had last you heard from us, so I'll cover it quickly.
Firefly Quick Dry Color diapers are here. I have them in Small, Medium, and Large. The Small are the new organic cotton we all love so much. The Medium are hemp/cotton, though organic cotton in the same colors as the Small should arrive within days (or hours). And the big rainbow of Large diapers are hemp/cotton.

Next we will restock some of our natural basics. Our stock is finally recovering from our month away in the Spring. We have most items in stock, but we don't have large numbers of some.
Also, coming up are some wild hemp/cotton Quick Dry Color diapers. We've been calling them the Clown diapers because every piece will be a different color--out, in, soakers and all. These are going to be our last hurrah for hemp/cotton diapers. We have been phasing out hemp/cotton from our line now that we have domestic organic cotton that feels, performs, and lasts as well or better than the imported hemp/cotton.
We have continued to update our Easy Wool stock. The dye man has been experimenting with new colors like Bark Brown and Lemon Yellow. If you don't see what you like, give us a call. We may be able to help with what is already on the shelf or a new color in the future.

Have you been waiting for Almost-in-One sets? They are cut and ready for my attention, but my attention has been diverted recently (see below). We have been taking names of those who are interested in seeing Almost-in-One diapers and sets we will have available soon. We will contact each person on the list in turn to view the sets and choose what they would like, with no obligation to buy. When? Why live by deadlines. I don't know. But this is the next big thing in my production schedule after day-to-day orders.
If you want to be on the list to see the Almost-in-One sets, please send me a message with "Almost-in-One" or "AIO" in the subject line to fuzmama@fuzbaby.com If you already sent a message, I still have it.
Last the best of all. The Real Diaper Association has opened its doors. What's so real about it? Cloth diapers are real diapers, of course.
Some of you reading this will have heard me say for years, "We should have an organization to advocate cloth diapers." I've heard many others say this, as well. I always said I would like to join, but no organization happened for me to join. So, I gathered information and people, hoping to have time in a distant someday to make it happen. The time never quite happened, but the right mix of people did.
Five women have come together to build the Real Diaper Association (RDA), an organization that will support local experts in advocating cloth diapers. That local expert is you! Visit the RDA website to read about the organization. There you can volunteer to lead a local Real Diaper Circle or offer any other expertise you may have. Please join us. Become a member.
RDA is also creating a Resource Center including a directory of local resources, scientific and demographic diapering data, and educational materials. RDA will train organizers, plan national campaigns, sponsor an annual convention, and whatever else it takes to accomplish our mission of putting more U.S. babies in cloth diapers.
