I experimented with different thicknesses of dye to see which set best on the surface but still left vivid color after final washing. These splatter dyes included the fixing agents in the dye.

The auction winner chose the size and details of the cover.

Most wool is too heavy to tie dye effectively, but it still leaves an interesting effect.

The same bidder won both covers.

I joined off-cut pieces of wool knit binding in a rainbow for the edge of this Easy Wool cover. After Fuzbaby bought Firefly Diapers in August 2001, we experimented with some of the products through Fuzbaby before sending them off to their own Firefly Diapers website.
