Together with a group of women who produce some of the most elaborately decorated cloth diaper and cloth sets available -- as well as some other great additions, I joined Random Eclipse. The auctions are occasional and somewhat unpredictable, like a random eclipse.

Fall Leaves Wool Diaper Cover
For each Random Eclipse, the members are suggested with a theme. For this Fall Equinox, the time of days' balance between light and dark, the theme is Light & Dark.

Play with Light & Dark
In addition to loving Elemental themes, I seem to come back again and again to leaves on trees.
I was thinking of the way fading light of day takes color away as well. |

Blowing in the Wind
If you look closely, you will see wind trails behind the blowing leaves.
I saved most of the warm colors for leaves, leaving the Sun & Moon diaper cover fairly cool.
By "fall leaves" I don't just mean the bits of the tree that fall to the ground. I also mean that the season goes away. Fall leaves and winter arrives. |

Light & Dark
Though it was still light outside when we photographed this cover, it looked sea green and pink in natural light, so we forced the flash, which makes it look like the photos were taken during the night. I like that idea, since we are playing with light and dark here.
The cover is mint and forest green in the body with brick red (a darkish terracotta) for the trim. |
